For 14 years, Jaeco Precision, Inc. has specialized in the manufacturing of high-quality plastic injection molds, progressive dies, and close tolerance custom components for the aerospace, medical, electronics, defense, power generation, consumer, and pharmaceutical industries. The owner of Jaeco Precision, Inc., Jeff Callicutt, has had a relationship with his local community college, Central Carolina Community College, for over 25 years. It was where Callicutt went to school and where he is now sending his new apprentice. As of this year, Jaeco became a charter member of Apprenticeship Randolph, a new consortium in Randolph County that recruits apprentices for positions such as machinist, tool and die, and mold maker. Upon graduation, apprentices will receive a two-year associate’s degree and a four-year journeymen’s certificate.
